The Velophonic Orchestra is a spontaneous bicycle orchestra that anyone can join!

Over the period of an hour, we’ll explore the possibilities of using bicycles as instruments: playing on bells, spokes, frames, saddles - you name it! No previous bicycle-playing experience necessary - just follow the conductors and experience being part of the band as we create and perform a piece of music to celebrate each of the four cycle sports of the European Championships.

There's a series of outreach workshops planned, and we're looking for a team of volunteers to help everyone make music on the day - if you have some experience of percussion, a bike, and fabulous listening/team skills, we need you!

Time commitment is 2 x 2 hour rehearsals, and of course, the event day itself. DO get in touch if this sounds like your thing...
